Bopha Phorn, Cambodia, has written for a host of publications, including Al-Jazeera, Nikkei Asia, Rest of World, Vice Asia, VOA and the Associated Press. She was a senior reporter and editor for The Cambodia Daily and a part-time lecturer.

From 2018-2019, she was a reporter at ABC, based in New York. Phorn collaborates with ​​ICIJ and the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project. Her work with the ICIJ on an exposé about the World Bank won awards and recognition from the Overseas Press Club of America. She was also part of the team that worked on the Pandora Papers.

Phorn won the International Women’s Media Foundation’s 2013 Courage in Journalism Award for investigating illegal logging. She was a class of 2018 Fulbright Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow and a 2023 fellow at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard.
