Adrian Mogos, Romania, is currently the head of investigations at the Bucharest daily newspaper Jurnalul National.
He is part of the Romanian Center for Investigative Journalism and was a fellow at Balkan Fellowship for Journalistic Excellence. His reporting on social issues, illegal deforestation, organized crime and corruption has been cited by judges of the Global Shining Light Award, Kurt Schork Award and CEI-SEEMO Award. One of the stories he supervised, on modern slavery, was included in the UNESCO Global Casebook for Investigative Journalism. In 2012 he was shortlisted for the European Press Prize for a story on Moldovans buying EU citizenship through Romania.
