Maryse Sulimma is Chief Operating Officer for ICIJ. She holds a PhD from the University of Freiburg i.Br., Germany.
Maryse spent many years working for various industries throughout Germany, Spain and the United States. She started out in finance and accounting and added substantial expertise in operations and human resources.
Her accomplishments include driving initiatives around process improvement, policy development, office expansion, and software implementation.
Prior to ICIJ, Maryse worked for the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center where she was the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for operations, finance, HR, and IT.
