Kunda Dixit, Nepal is a journalist and editor. He is co-publisher at Himalmedia, which produces the weekly Nepali-language magazine Himal Khabarpatrika, and chief editor of the English-language weekly newspaper Nepali Times.

Dixit is a graduate of Columbia University and started out as a reporter for BBC Radio at the United Nations in New York before serving as the Asia-Pacific Regional Editor of Inter Press Service. He returned to Nepal to set up Panos South Asia and is the author of several books, including a trilogy on the Nepali conflict, and "Dateline Earth: Journalism As If the Planet Mattered".

He served a two-year term as the board chair of the Centre for Investigative Journalism – Nepal and teaches media studies at Kathmandu University, and as visiting faculty at New York University's Abu Dhabi campus.
