Mohamed Zidan, Egypt, is an investigative journalist and media trainer. He has more than 14 years of experience in the field of journalism and media. He was part of the founding team of investigative journalists at El-Watan newspaper in Egypt in 2012.

He has worked on ICIJ’s Pandora papers investigation and on the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project’s Suisse Secrets project. In 2022, he worked as a consultant for the International Center for Journalists.

He was a part of the InfoTimes team which was awarded the GEN Data Journalism award for 2018.

He worked for many international and Arab platforms, including: DW, Al-Arabiya, El-Watan News, Al-Ain News, Forbes Middle East and the German Goethe Institute in Cairo.
