Whitney Joiner is a senior editor at ICIJ.
Previously, she was an articles editor at The Washington Post Magazine, where her work won a National Magazine Award. Prior to that, she was the Features Director for Hearst Digital Media, where she oversaw a centralized features desk and edited longform features for over 17 digital brands. She also served as a senior editor at Marie Claire and has written for the New York Times, ELLE, The Believer, TIME, Slate, and other outlets.
She is based in Taos, New Mexico.
