Dragana Pećo, Serbia, is a researcher at OCCRP ID, helping journalists in the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project follow the money. She is an investigations editor at KRIK in Serbia, mentoring younger journalists.

Pećo’s stories revealed some of the biggest corruption cases in her home country and abroad. She investigates offshore secret deals and tracks down people, companies and assets across the globe. She participated in several ICIJ’s projects: Panama Papers, Pandora Papers, Paradise Papers, FinCEN Files, as well as in others: Swiss Secrets and OpenLux.

She received more than a dozen prestigious national and international journalistic awards, including the 2018 Award for Outstanding Merits in Investigative Journalism, given by the CEI and SEEMO. As part of the KRIK investigative team, Pećo won the 2017 Data Journalism Award. In 2021, she received an EU Investigative Journalism Award, the Katarina Preradović Award for professional integrity, journalistic excellence, and courage, and the Dušan Bogavac journalistic award for ethics and courage.
