Inga Springe, Latvia, is founder and director of the Baltic Center for Investigative Journalism.

Springe was an investigative journalist at the daily newspaper Diena. Her investigations have focused on organized crime, corruption and smuggling in Latvia and the Balkans, work that led to changes in Latvian law and action against public officials.

She was a Fulbright/Humphrey program fellow studying journalism at the University of Maryland, through which she completed affiliations at the Washington Post, Mother Jones magazine and the ICIJ.
