Jacob Borg, Malta is a journalist with the Times of Malta.

He focuses on stories about money laundering and political corruption.

In 2018, he was the only Maltese journalist to form part of the Forbidden Stories team, an award-winning collaboration that continued the work of fellow Maltese journalist, Daphne Caruana Galizia, who was assassinated the previous year. He would go on to track down a secretive offshore company believed to have been a motive behind the murder.

Borg grew up in Malta, and has been working at the country’s leading newspaper, the Times of Malta, since February 2016. In 2020, he won Malta's top journalism accolade for his investigations into the Caruana Galizia case.
