Jyri Hänninen, Finland, is a journalist for the Finnish Broadcasting Company.

He participated in ICIJ’s Paradise Papers investigation.

Previously he has worked in Helsingin Sanomat and as an editor for the publishing company WSOY. In 2015 Hänninen was awarded the prestigious Lumilapio-prize for the best investigative journalism in Finland.

He has published a wide range of stories about tax havens and how the wealthy Finnish individuals and companies are using offshore havens. He is an author of five books, including “Tax Havens and Finland” and “The Cost of Being Poor”.
