Vanessa Chebli was ICIJ's donor member specialist from 2018 to 2021. She worked closely with ICIJ Insiders to support ICIJ’s donor membership program and grassroots fundraising.
Vanessa’s nonprofit career has focused on digital fundraising, membership programs and data management. Before coming to ICIJ, she worked at the Trust for the National Mall, first as Development Assistant and then as CRM Coordinator. At the Trust, Vanessa was a Salesforce administrator and managed the organization’s Women’s Leadership Committee as well as online fundraising.
Vanessa also has extensive experience with various D.C. advocacy and education nonprofits. She earned her BA in Political Science and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from American University in 2015.
