Mariel Fitz Patrick, Argentina, is an investigative reporter working at the news channel A24 and América TV.
In 2016, she hosted the main evening news program Televisión Pública Noticias at the National Public TV Station, which was nominated for the 2017 edition of the Martín Fierro TV Awards. Fitz Patrick was also a nominee for the 2016 edition of the Martín Fierro TV Award as best female journalist.
From 2012 to 2015, Fitz Patrick was part of the investigative team at the Channel 13's Periodismo Para Todos, hosted by Jorge Lanata. The program won several national and international awards. She also worked on special reports for Telenoche, the evening news program of Channel 13.
Until 2012, Fitz Patrick worked at the Editorial Perfil weekly magazine Noticias, and also worked as a freelance journalist for several other print publications. She was also a researcher, screenwriter and producer of various documentaries.
Fitz Patrick graduated from journalism studies at the Taller Escuela Agencia (TEA) School in 1997.
She is a board member of the Foro de Periodismo Argentino (FOPEA), a nationwide organization of journalists she joined in 2003.
