Mohammed Komani, Yemen, is an investigative journalist who has more than 14 years of experience. He has been working with ARIJ (Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalists) since 2016.

Currently, he is a senior data editor and coach.

Komani is a member of ICIJ and worked with them on several projects including the Panama Papers, Swiss Leaks, Pandora Papers, FinCEN Files, Ericsson List and other groundbreaking cross-border projects.

He is also a data, open source, and investigative journalism trainer. He has trained hundreds of Arab journalists with Google News Initiative and ICFJ, and in an intensive six-month data diploma with ARIJ.

Komani is a mentor with the Thomson Foundation and was a member of the jury and prize committee for the Sigma Awards 2023.

He has an extensive background in data and specialises in money-laundering investigations.
