Petra Blum

Petra Blum, Germany, is a senior researcher with ICIJ. She was a freelancer with WDR, a German public broadcaster based in Cologne, for which she has participated in a number of cross-border investigations.

In 2015, she was part of the Swiss Leaks project, studying secret bank accounts and focusing on tax fraud. During the Panama Papers, Petra was part of the team which unearthed the hidden money of people closely associated with Russia’s head of state.

Petra is also a book author. Her 2014 award-winning book about corporate culture provided an in-depth and below-the-surface look into the culture and conduct of multinational companies.
