Amy Wilson-Chapman was ICIJ’s community engagement editor from 2017 to 2020.
Amy previously spent three years at The Australian Financial Review in Sydney, Australia where she was responsible for developing social media, newsletter and overall engagement strategies. This included working with other parts of the business to deliver strong subscriber growth for the publication.
Prior to that, Amy was in Mongolia for 12 months as an Australian Volunteer for International Development at The Press Institute of Mongolia . There she worked closely with the team to improve the quality of reporting among journalists. This included working with stakeholders to find funding for much-needed journalism training across environmental, business and other topics.
She also worked at PerthNow/The Sunday Times as a business reporter and editor, after starting her career in the Canadian Rockies at The Fitzhugh.
